Leaving HomeBy Heidi Gould I wanted some way to show How very much I care To tell you how much it means to me That you were always there You have been such an inspiration And showed me the way to go Many lessons you have taught me The impact you will never know You treated me like family And always had nice things to say You shared words to encourage And guide me along the way You live your life as an example For all the world to see Always putting others first Serving God’s great family You touch the lives of others In ways you can never know With the life you have been called to lead The good deeds you seed to grow So, when my life becomes uncertain And I don’t know what to do I will bow my head in prayer For God to remind me of you Dedicated to the faculty and staff at St Joseph School
